Matthew Gregory
Matthew Gregory was born in Suffolk, in 1984, and spent all of his early life in a suburb of Lowestoft. He studied at the Norwich School of Art and Design and Goldsmiths, University of London. He has lived in Prague, St.Petersburg, New York and Naples. His poems have appeared in the anthology series Stop Sharpening Your Knives, as well as Poetry London, The Rialto and Magma, and have been aired on BBC radio. In 2010, he received an Eric Gregory award – a national prize for the best collection by poets under the age of thirty. Recently he has been collating material for a documentary-film about the lives of the young poets he knows. At present he is living in Suffolk and working on his first collection.

Recent exhibitions include Tarrot, Focal Point Gallery, Southend (2011, Curated by Andrew Hunt); Contemporary Art Society Centenary, Norwich Castle (2011, Curated by Alex Sainsbury and Lawrence Leaman); and ‘Young British Artists’, Limencello, London (2011, Curated by Ryan Gander).
