Beyond the Eyes of the Media:

One frequently sees countries and cultures through the eyes of the media, and is often sure that what he is witnessing is in fact, the reality. However, the reality is much more complex and uncertain than what is shown by the media.
Indeed, non-reality is a lot more reassuring than reality.
Poetry and literature capture the soul and identity of peoples because of their human intimate perspective that synthesizes the qualities of cultural surroundings.

On March 20th 2009 Ilaria Valentina Oberholtzer, Italian-American Sociology student, Shira Lazarovich, Israeli student of International Relations and a Palestinian student will present their point of view regarding their country and people - beyond the eyes of the media.
