Comunicato stampa
Segnala l'evento
BRUNO QUATTROMANI and CHARLES BAUDELAIRE
L' Invitation Au Voyage
In all of Bruno Quattromani's works there is a
striking grace, a sensuality, a sorrow that only seems to
ward off a world of impending doom. The sensuous
figures are there for us to admire, desire, to want
to caress, to cajole, to defend from the
imminent catastrophe that they appear to be resigned to,
Aimer à loisir
Aimer et mourir
We are in a world of graceful vulnerability, of a
sensuality delimitated and encroached upon by red
and grey parallel lines that separate us from the
subjects. The figures of the sculptures extend their
sinuous grace in an involuted space, a silent
anguish pervades a sense of an on coming defeat.
Objects radiate their poetry in anticipation of
the permanent, impending catastrophe.
Si mystèrieux
De tes traites yeux,
Brillant à travers leurs
larmes
The Castel dell'Ovo, the Red Plane about to
crash, the old Bullet Riddled Blue Car framed by the embalmer's
shroud, its tires full, but we know that it will
never move again. It is a world of poetic instances, the Faces
Hidden, the cascades of sensual hair, the elastic
movements of the bodies, the melancholy of our existence,
