Artist Statement:
The memories that merge with photography perfectly express my strong desire of freedom towards myself and others. I am obsessively looking for the hidden meaning of the word freedom into my subconscious, expressing it though the art of nude. The feeling of lack and unknown helps me to create a sincere and intimate relationship with the people I photograph, finding myself in them every time. Through the camera and models I cancel myself out, freed me from all my life’s realities . The return of a memory as a permanent sensation in the exact moment of shooting expresses my pleasure about the raise of new feelings and desires, which are the nectar of my art and my photography, vital to keep surviving.
Era Enesi
Born in Tirana on February 26th, 1993.
Since she was a kid, she has been always attracted by the Helmut Newton photos, developing a real passion for nude photography. As soon as she received her first camera from her parents she started to follow her vocation. In 2015 she attended the “Italian School of Photography” in MiIan. After the degree she started to move her first steps into the photography world, specializing in nude photography. She started to collaborate with some popular studios and exhibit her work during national and international photography exhibitions.
