Segnala l'evento
Iperuranio
According to Plato the Iperuranio was that area beyond the sky where ideas reside.Ideas perfect and incorruptible residing in this imaginary place reachable only by the intellect, ideas that can not be affected by human materialism. The ideas are, according to some philosophies, necessary for the existence of man and his surroundings.Plato also assumed that the human soul before falling in the body was able to contemplate the perfection of ideas residing in the Iperuranio and the time that the soul spent into this metaphysical area would determinate the intellectual and moral qualities of that man.We are talking about a timeless, spaceless and metaphysics dimension so purely spiritual. It seems clear the comparison with many of the contemporary forms of art.The artist as detached and very sensitive personality can be a witness of his time putting on canvas lights and shadows of the contemporary society, but not only, he can get in touch with this timeless zone where ideas reside, to get inspired.
The way in which ideas and artwork interact is different and referring to the theories of Plato, we will observe different levels of involvement and interaction with the ideas.Starting from a Mimesi relationship in which the works are copies of these immutable and perfect ideas, through a Methexis relationship in which works are involved in the existence of the ideas or Aitia where ideas are due to the creations of artists, defining a more direct and conscious connection. To finally arrive at the ratio of "Second Coming” (Parusia) with the Iperuranio where ideas are present in the paintings and represent their essence. These very abstract concepts will appear more clear and understandable in front of the work of the artists.Different levels of awareness and maturity that define not only the value of the artist and his work but also the degree of sensitivity and empathy of these personality of our time that have the ability to abstract facts and reach places made by ideas and concepts.Through their work they create colorful bridges that lead us in a particular mood and make us look out to the Iperuranio doors. It will be up to us to take the last step and get to the understanding. To do this it must become estranged for a few minutes from what keeps us chained to the material world and fly to The Iperuranio, find a new internal dialogue that could enable us to understand how the ideas are in relation between them, retrieve the primitive memory only made of sensation and feelings the one that allow us not only to better understand ourselves, but to make that step forward towards greater awareness. This exhibition is a journey through inner enrichment an idea that goes beyond aesthetics, a moment of reflection, an opportunity to take time only for ourself : a moment outside of time and space.
