L’artista francese Olivier Menanteau concentra il suo interesse sulla diversità della vita sociale umana nel mondo moderno. I suoi immagini mostrano la vita in un ufficio, un aeroporto, una classe, un centro anziani, tutti rappresentati con la stessa importanza. Ogni immagine descrive gli aspetti anonimi e personali del posto di lavoro in una gerarchia, insieme all’aspetto interiore dei partecipanti di questi luoghi. In questo modo, Menanteau rivela la sua posizione di reversibilità che rende i protagonisti di questi spazi a volte soggetti, a volte oggetti. Deriva caratteristiche e situazioni particolari dagli spazi che visita; sulla parete dello spazio espositivo essi rappresentano un insieme che crea un ulteriore “spazio” di “unità” umana che esiste solo negli occhi dello spettatore.
