Showreelproject.com #3 – Adam Thompson
Adam Thompson prosegue il programma espositivo di Showreelproject.com dedicato a cinque giovani artisti internazionali per la prima volta presentati in Italia.
Comunicato stampa
Segnala l'evento
The work of ADAM THOMPSON will be presented for the first time in Italy in the little shop-window at via Pastrengo 13 – 15, Milan. The site-specific piece will be on show from February 3th to February 10th. The evening of the opening will be possible to meet the artist and have some press material from 7pm at via Pastrengo 12 inside the inner courtyard.
Showreelproject.com is a project curated by Paola Caravati with the aim of showing the work of young European artists never before presented in Italy. Showreelproject.com is addressed to both insiders in the contemporary art world as well as to curious outsiders, presenting the artworks in an unusual place and uncommon way. The space chosen for the project is a shop window based in via Pastrengo in Milan where the artwork will be on show for one week. To participate in the project will be five international artists, one every two months. The limited dimensions of the space and the impossibility of viewer access are a double constriction. To the young artists the challenge is to confront a peculiar place that imposes in a single gesture the condensation of a method capable of expressing itself fully as the space diminishes.
