Alvise Bittente da Perugi a Padova

De rebus domesticis, seu affectuum lascivissimae picturae, ovvero Del domestico, o la pornografia dei sentimenti è la nuova personale di Alvise Bittente presentata dalla Perugi artecontemporanea. La ricerca dell’artista veneziano si limita alle risorse, scarne fino all’osso, del tratto della penna, con cui ritrae le “piccole cose senza importanza” che attraversano lo sguardo nella vita di tutti i giorni, in qualche modo rieditando, in chiave attualissima, la propensione alla veduta che ha segnato le glorie artistiche della sua terra. Il disegno, però, non è che la componente più vistosa dei suoi lavori. Se ne insinua infatti un’altra: il soffio della concettualità che spira dai titoli, che sono un concentrato di associazioni mentali argutissime. In questo modo la banalità degli oggetti raffigurati viene totalmente riscattata, presa nel vortice della felice e filosofica follia di colui che sa vedere il mondo alla rovescia. In questa occasione Bittente si concentra sull’ambiente famigliare della cucina e sugli utensili che in essa accompagnano azioni ormai rituali, che scopriamo insospettabilmente intrise di spudorati significati sessuali. De rebus domesticis, seu affectuum lascivissimae picturae, or rather “Of the domestic, or the pornography of feelings”, is the new solo show by Alvise Bittente at the gallery Perugi artecontemporanea. The research of the Venetian artist constrains itself to the meagre resources of pen drawing, with which he portrays the “small unimportant things” which cross our gaze in our daily lives. In a very topical way he somehow re-edits the penchant for the panorama which marks the artistic glories of his home town. However, the drawing is only the most evident element of his works, and another one sneaks in: the breath of the conceptual which whispers from the titles, titles which are dense with very witty mental associations. In this way the banality of the objects portrayed is completely redeemed, caught in a whirl of the fertile and philosophical folly of one who is able to see the world upside down. This time Bittente concentrates on the familiar environment of the kitchen and the kitchen tools which accompany what have become ritual actions, which we unexpectedly discover to be soaked with brazen sexual meanings.
