Il mondo è un’armoniosa orchestra musicale, guidata da uno sconosciuto direttore…

 

La Musica è arte, poiché esprime l’interiorità dell’individuo; essa è una delle molteplici vie che conducono l’uomo verso l’intima struttura dell’anima.

L’artista Marco Garofalo ritorna all’antica accezione del termine: la musica rappresenta tutte le arti delle Muse. Per il fotografo, la Musica è l’esperienza soggettiva che varia da cultura a cultura, e da epoca ad epoca; è un linguaggio creativo che suscita, attraverso i suoni, silenti sensazioni: tristezza, stupore, felicità…

È danza e non semplicemente suono, è un amorevole legame tra corpo e spirito.

È Azione e Pensiero.

La Musica è, soprattutto, la realizzazione di un desiderio, di un’aspirazione e, perché no, di un proprio vizio. È il cammino dell’uomo nella storia. Non esiste una sola cultura nel mondo che sia priva della Musica. Le fotografie, legate a questa mostra, rivelano questo nuovo atteggiamento dell’autore nei confronti di essa. Non solo, è, anche un viaggio trasversale nei diversi aspetti musicali: dalla musica folk alla musica Jazz, dalla musica Pop alla musica rock.

 

 

Arts & Music Men and the expression of soul…

 

Music is art, because it expresses the individual innerself; it is one of the several ways that lead men towards the intimate structure of soul.

The artist Marco Garofalo goes back to the ancient meaning of the term: music represents all of the arts of the Muses. In the photographer’s opinion, music is the subjective experience that differ from culture to culture, and from time to time; it’s a creative language that arouses, through sounds, silent feelings: sadness, shock, happiness…

It’s a dance, and not simply sound; it’s a lovely tie between body and spirit.

It is Action and Thought. Music is, above all, the realization of a wish, of an ambition and, why not, of a proper vice. It’s the path of men in history. All of the world’s cultures comprise music. The pictures in this exhibition reveal this new attitude of the author towards Music. Furthermore, it is a transversal path in the different genres of music: from Folk to Jazz, from Pop to Rock.
