Per la prima volta il bando apre a tutti i Paesi europei
Tutto pronto per una nuova sfida europea all’insegna dell’arte. I fratelli Mazzola, dell’azienda promotrice CO.ME.L. di Latina, annunciano l’uscita del bando della VI edizione del premio internazionale ” Premio COMEL Vanna Migliorin – Arte Contemporanea ” che vuole richiamare l’attenzione sulle possibilità espressive, estetiche, comunicative e costruttive dell’alluminio.
Il titolo della mostra sarà “Sinuosita’ dell’alluminio ” “Tra le proprietà dell’alluminio la plasticità è una vera e propria celebrazione della libertà artistica, un richiamo alla creatività e alla modificabilità che le mani creative amano vivere pienamente. Flessuosità, svolta, giravolta, tornante, serpeggiamento, meandro, ansa: queste le possibilità a cui il metallo si presta, per essere sinuoso e condurci sulle vie dell’arte .”
La partecipazione al bando è gratuita. Non ci sono limiti di età ed è aperta a tutti gli artisti contemporanei, dai 18 in su, di ogni nazionalità europea, che utilizzino l’alluminio come elemento principale e significativo per la realizzazione del lavoro che intendano iscrivere al concorso.
Una commissione composta da professionisti nel settore dell’arte selezionerà, tra tutti i lavori pervenuti, le 13 opere che verranno esposte da sabato 7 ottobre a sabato 28 ottobre 2017 nello spazio espositivo Spazio COMEL Arte Contemporanea di Via Neghelli 68 a Latina, in una mostra a loro espressamente dedicata e sceglierà tra di esse l’opera alla quale assegnare il Premio COMEL 2017 che consiste in un premio in denaro pari ad Euro 3.500 e in una mostra personale Spazio COMEL Arte Contemporanea già sede del Premio e la relativa pubblicazione di un catalogo.

Open call of the sixth edition
For the first time the ban opens to all European countries
All set for a new European challenge of art. The Mazzola brothers, who run the CO.ME.L. company of Latina (Italy), have announcedthe call of the sixth edition of the International‘COMEL Award Vanna Migliorin – Contemporary Art’. The Award wants to draw attention to the expressive, aesthetic, communicative and constructive possibilities of aluminum.
Title of the COMEL Award 2017 is “Sinuosityof aluminum” “Among the properties of aluminum, plasticity is a real celebration of artistic freedom, a call to the artistic impulse and changeability that creative hands like to fully experience. Flexuosity, turning, twirl, hairpin turn, snaking, meander, bight: these are the possibilities the metal lends itself, in order to be sinuous and take us on the ways of art.”
Participation in the competition is free and open to all artists, 18 years of age and older, that operate in any of the European countries, and use aluminum as the main and significant medium for the realization of the work to be submitted.
A professional Committee in the field of art, will select thirteen works, among all the proposals. The thirteen works will be exhibited from Saturday,7th October 2017 to Saturday, 28th October2017 at the gallery Spazio COMEL Arte Contemporanea, via Neghelli 68, Latina, Italy.
The unique winning artist will be awarded the COMEL Jury Award 2017. The prize consists of a cash prize of € 3500.The winning artist will also be awarded a solo exhibition to be held at the Spazio COMEL Arte Contemporanea. The publication of a catalogue of the exhibition is also included.
